The DIGIPASS Pack for Remote & Network Authentication combines the capabilities of 2 different packs – DIGIPASS Pack for Remote Authentication and DIGIPASS Pack for Network Authentication - in one easy-to-deploy solution.
It is based on two major authentication technologies, One-Time Passwords and credential storage/PKI. On one hand, the DIGIPASS 860 USB/PKI device has the ability to store credentials and provide login information automatically when plugged in. On the other hand, DP 860 is able to generate One-Time Passwords to authenticate remote users with a push of a button.
This solution is ideal for organizations that require both remote authentication to their IT infrastructure and local authentication to operating systems, servers, applications, and protected web sites. The DIGIPASS Pack for Remote and Network Authentication verifies authentication request from remote users, provides central administration of users and authentication policies. It provides increased security for remote (VPN) access, network access, or local PC logon. This pack incorporates the Smart Authentication Suite (e.g. for Windows authentication) and VACMAN Middleware (for Radius Authentication).
Digipass Pack for Remote & Network Authentication is a two-factor authentication solution that replaces static logon procedures to a secure logon with One Time Passwords.
