DIGIPASS Pack for Network Authentication is a two-factor authentication solution that replaces single factor logon (username and password) with secure credentials based on the smart card technology. This clear-cut Single Sign-On solution provides secure user access to laptops and PCs, operating systems, servers, applications, protected web sites and portals. It is a user friendly solution for managing multiple and/or complex passwords. This solution can be installed on individual PCs or for thin clients.
Two factor authentication based on:
- something you have: DIGIPASS Smart Card
- something you know: a unique PIN code
DIGIPASS Pack for Network Authentication is a company’s best partner when it comes to securing PC access and managing multiple passwords. This DIGIPASS solution utilizes the secure DIGIPASS Smart Authentication Suite. The DIGIPASS Pack for Network Authentication requires authorized users to demonstrate the possession of both a DIGIPASS Smart Card and a unique PIN code. Credentials are securely stored on a DIGIPASS Smart Card and are automatically filled in whenever a website or an application asks for identification This is made possible by using either a DP 905 or a PCMCIA card reader.

- The end user simply needs to enter his/her smart card in a card reader or computer terminal and type in a 4-digit PIN to be automatically loged into his/her systems and applications
- When the user is done, removing the smart card will automatically log the user out
- The user can continue the session later, without interruption, at a different terminal
